Laser Lipolysis (Lipo Laser) is one of the most popular spot fat reduction and body contouring systems which is a great alternative to traditional liposuction and is much safer and cost-effective. Today's busy lifestyles, processed food and excessive use of transport makes it harder to know how to get rid of that stubborn, unwanted fat. Lipo Laser treatment utilises the latest low level/cold laser technology to reduce girth over the affected area by delivering energy via the laser to the exact spot it is needed. Accompanying the removal of fat, it provides excellent skin tightening results by increasing collagen and elastin production, resulting in improved skin quality.

FAQS
Rather than a painful incision, laser lipo treatments uses laser energy to safely and painlessly penetrate the skin and target specific fat cells (known as adipose), enabling the laser to stimulate the cell into releasing free fatty acids, water, and glycerol. Having released these three compounds, (often referred to as Triglycerides), the fat cells "shrink" significantly, and the lymphatic system removes the fatty liquids through the venous system, resulting in inch loss.
Clients feel no pain, redness, swelling or tenderness except maybe some warmth. Laser lipo technology has been studied for over 30 years for many biomedical purposes and is FDA approved for pain and inflammation so there is also no downtime.
Yes, it is completely safe and non–invasive
Two large Diode laser paddles are placed on the fatty areas. Two smaller Probe lasers are placed over the lymphatic glands. The laser lipo machine will be turned on for 10 minutes, relocated and turned on for another 10 minutes and repeated for 30 minutes.
The laser lipo machine emits low levels of laser energy, which create a chemical signal in the fat cells, breaking down the stored triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol and releasing them though channels in the cell membranes. The fatty acids and glycerol are then transported around the body to the tissues that will use them during metabolism to create energy. This process of fatty acid release is a natural response of the body when the body needs to use stored energy reserves, thus lipo laser treatment is not creating any unnatural reaction in the body nor does it affect or damage any surrounding structures such as skin, blood vessels and peripheral nerves. Light exercise post treatment can accelerate the removal of the released fat.
A typical session is 30 mins.
The number of treatments needed to see noticeable changes varies from person to person. Most clients will need anywhere between 4-12 treatments with optimal results seen after the fourth session. This treatment can be done twice a week as treatments can be performed 3 days apart, but not closer as the body needs time for the elimination process.
Ideally 6-10 sessions with the first 3 sessions spaced 3 days apart and thereafter, once a week is required.
Results can be seen gradually after each treatment as the fat cell contents are released however each and every client is different.
Ultrasound imagery shows up to 30% reduction in the fat layer depth.
Immediately following the treatment it is compulsory that every person does 10 to 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercise as the body needs to get the released liquids out through heat or energy in 24 hours (otherwise it will just go back in to the fat cells again). One treatment of laser lipo takes about 425 calories out of your fat cells so it is advisable if you can't or don't want to exercise, you can go for a sauna bed treatment, but this is NOT as effective. A period of exercise post treatment will ensure the complete metabolism and thus elimination from the body of the freed fatty acids. After the treatment it is recommended that the client drinks two litres of water and does not overindulge.
Known side-effects experienced in the affected area are tenderness, numbness, bruising, irritation and scarring (not so prominent) however these are rare.
Laser lipolysis (laser lipo) is a non-invasive form of body sculpting that removes small fat deposits by the application of thermal laser power, which liquefies the fat and destroys the fat cells.
Traditional liposuction is an invasive procedure involving large incisions, an inpatient hospital stay and general anesthesia, designed to eliminate fat deposits by suctioning it out from underneath the skin.
